Horse Riding Holidays

Sunday, April 20th, 2008

I once heard that you can tell if a hotel is good by going to the bathroom first.

I haven’t heard that you can tell if a business is any good by looking at there holidays but if it were the case the The FInal Frame is in great shape. My daughter and I have just returned from 5 days riding at Yarrabin. Near Bathurst what a place. Annie and Grahme Phillips have one of the best places to go for a holiday I can’t recommend it enough. Inexpensive, invigourating, inspiring, inbelievable. Check them out www.yarrabin.com.au

Just the kind of thing to get the blood moving again ready to get some work done. Things are looking pretty busy this week. 2 interesting things to do include framing a formula 1 suit, framing paintings for Gillie and Marc ( who have a show in Perth soon www.gillieandmarc.com ),

Computerised Mat Cutting

Wednesday, April 9th, 2008

Recently we bought a computerised mat cutter. Apart from all the boring stuff it does it also does all these cool shapes. Basically any simple drawing can be produced via a computer cut with a bevel in 2 - 3mm mount board. Animals, geometry, words etc.

It’s alot of fun to use and some of the results are pretty cool

Hi. This is my first blog so I’m unneccessarily excited about it. The big news this week is a large job we just delivered for The Maritime Union of Australia (MUA). They are having a charity auction this Friday to raise money for some children sadly I’m not sure where there’s probably more info at www.mua.org.au. So The FInal Frame delivered in frames 5 x footy jumpers, 2 x big flags with photos and plaques, 3 x other flags and framed t-shirts etc…. check out some of the photos…. when I work out how to attach them. That’s it for now Pete framed flag
